A wide-leg pant with a distinctive balloon silhouette, which Aviva Jifei Xue has continued to release since the brand's earliest days.
The outseam draws a gentle curve, while darts below the knee on the inseam create a voluminous, sculpted silhouette that flows from the relaxed hips.
The Cocoon Pant was not originally made in this fabric in the collection, but as an exclusive specification for our shop, we had the fabric changed and asked for it to be made in an autumn/winter version with a full lining.

Even when worn low on the waist, the length shows just enough of the ankle, and the fit remains relaxed.
Unlike previous releases, only the back of the waist is elasticated, while the front has two tucks to add volume.
The wool and cotton herringbone fabric was released previously and is also used in the Triple Pleated Pant.
We liked the lightness and color of this fabric, so we asked for the Cocoon Pant to be made in it as well.

The elasticated waist lets you wear them stress-free.
If you check the waist measurement in the size chart, it may look smaller than on other pants, but when the elastic is stretched to its maximum it extends to nearly 100cm, so they can be worn comfortably by almost any body type.
When choosing, rather than going by waist size, please choose according to your preference for the overall width and length.

Also, unusually for elastic pants, these have belt loops.
When you put a smartphone, wallet and the like in your pockets, they turn out to be surprisingly heavy, and I absolutely can't stand it when pants slip down with only an elastic waist, so for me the belt loops, while understated, are a very welcome feature.

Although the silhouette is unconventional, there's no need to overthink it: simply pair them with a shirt or jacket, or sometimes with a long-length item.
This time they are offered in five different fabrics, so please choose the material and color you like.
We highly recommend trying them if you are looking for a pair of pants with a sense of playfulness.
