A wide pant with a distinctive balloon silhouette, released continuously by Aviva Jifei Xue since the brand's early days.
The outseam draws a gentle curve, and darts below the knee are placed in the inseam, building a three-dimensional, voluminous silhouette that flows from the relaxed hips.
The Cocoon Pant was not originally produced in this fabric in the original collection, but as an exclusive specification for our shop, the fabric was changed, and it was made for autumn/winter with a full lining.

Even when worn dropped at the waist, the length shows just enough ankle, with a relaxed fit.
Unlike previous releases, only the back of the waist is elasticated, while the front adds volume with two tucks.
Made from an archive linen and cotton fabric, in black.
Rather than a pure black, it has a slight blue tint and can also look like a blue-black.
In dim light it appears close to black, while in bright light it looks more blue-black, a subtle, nuanced color achieved with natural dyes.
Looking closely, the fabric has a herringbone weave, a fabric with the depth characteristic of Aviva Jifei Xue.

The elasticated waist allows you to wear them stress-free.
The waist measurement in the size chart may look small compared to other pants, but when the elastic waist is stretched to its maximum it extends to nearly 100cm, so they can be worn by almost any body type.
When choosing, please select based on your preference for the overall width and length rather than the waist size.

Also, unusually for elastic pants, this pair has belt loops.
As someone who is absolutely bothered by pants sliding down when a phone, wallet and the like are put in the pockets, since they turn out to be surprisingly heavy and an elastic waist alone can't hold them, I find the belt loops a modest but very welcome feature.
