Founded in 2019, Lounge Sai is a curated boutique created as a space for people to encounter and connect with works by both domestic and international brands and artists.

We embrace a broad interpretation of “fashion” as the elements that shape one’s identity—curating clothing, fragrances, interiors, music, and more from an independent perspective, unconstrained by genre, fame, or convention.

As part of our ongoing exploration of how best to create spaces that connect people with art and craftsmanship, Lounge Sai operates a permanent boutique in Kajigaya, Kawasaki, while also hosting pop-up events across Japan on an irregular basis.

Founder: Wataru Shimosato

Born in 1988 in Azumino, Nagano Prefecture,

Wataru Shimosato’s work spans multiple creative fields, including photography, videography, modeling, and directing, all rooted in a foundation of fashion.

In 2019, he launched Lounge Sai as a platform for curating and sharing unique expressions of style and artistry.
