Botanical Syrup Hinata 720mL
The second "drink the scent" non-alcoholic drink
Inspired by gin and built on the concept of "drinking scent", "Botanical Syrup Kusawake" now has a second release: Hinata, beautiful in its vivid sunrise color.
Its hallmark is the sweetness and tingling heat of bold cassia and cinnamon, pulled together crisply by lemon's acidity.
To compare them simply: Kusawake is "fresh" and Hinata is "sweet".
"Sweet" doesn't mean a heavy, sticky sweetness, of course: its delicate taste, drawing on the ingredients, makes it a perfect non-alcoholic companion for grown-ups taking their time.
Made only from natural ingredients with no additives, this aromatic drink is a new genre, different from both craft ginger ale and craft cola.
Enjoy it like a spirit: on the rocks, topped with soda water, with ume syrup or umeshu, or mixed with gin, vodka, shochu and more.

On cold days or before bed, I also recommend it hot to warm you up.
Great for yourself and your family, and with a taste many people can enjoy along with its aroma, it also makes a very welcome gift or present when visiting.
For gifts, we offer a dedicated brand gift box; please order it together.

Along with Kusawake, it's a drink I especially hope fragrance lovers will try.

How to Enjoy 陽
A distinctive scent
A scent that works behind the scenes
A scent that links ingredients together
Each has its own character, and its own compatibility.
When they are a poor match, the scents cancel each other out and an unpleasant scent appears.
People are the same.
We want to spend time with people we get along with as much as possible.
An environment that needs us is best.
We apply this thinking to the combination of ingredients as well.
Consider the strengths and role of each.
Prepare the environment to bring out the intended scent.
Use only what is necessary.
The scent born from ingredients combined in this way is very beautiful.
There is a reason we place emphasis on scent.
It is the difference between “liquor” and “juice.”
It is not only the presence or absence of alcohol.
Liquor is a drink in which one enjoys the scent, while juice is a drink in which one enjoys the taste.
Of course juice has a scent too, but when drinking apple juice or grape juice,
“The acidity is just right,” “The light sweetness makes it easy to drink”
comments about taste, I think, account for most of what people say.
On the other hand, when drinking wine or whiskey,
“It smells like berries,” “The scent of the cask is distinct”
comments about scent are probably more common.
Here lies the clear difference between liquor and juice.
If we make a drink rich in scent, it should captivate people even without alcohol.
With that in mind, Kusawake is built around scent.
And there is one more crucial point.
Not trying to make it within an existing category.
We do not squeeze it into easy-to-explain categories such as craft cola or ginger ale.
We want to stay outside the realm of categories that are easy to convey to others, trends that anyone would like, and designs that anyone can understand, bound by no existing frame whatsoever, and create freely.
That is what we think.
Even without relying on trends or ease of understanding, if we make something delicious, there will surely be people who understand.
Even for a product whose nature is entirely unclear at first glance, Kusawake exists thanks to the customers who buy it and sense something in it.

Of course it is lovely to enjoy at home, and it is also highly recommended as a gift. Seasonal limited flavors are also available.
