Throughout her work with clients, she long held a wish to create special care products that support healthy nails—a vision that eventually led to the birth of Dō.

Dō is rooted in the philosophy of Yōjō (養生) — an ancient Chinese wellness practice that emphasizes living in harmony with nature to prevent illness and maintain health. This way of thinking was passed down to Japan, where it became an integral part of daily life during the Edo period.

By reinterpreting traditional practices such as Yōjō, Eastern philosophy, and Yin-Yang & Five Elements Theory, Dō aims to bring these timeless principles into modern life with ease, nurturing both inner wellness and outer beauty.

Through these rituals, Dō envisions a future where each of us grows stronger, healthier, and more beautiful—naturally and holistically.
