Description
Signature Trousers is a line from DIOGUARDI, which works as a trouser tailor and makes nothing but pants.
Made from materials selected by the designer and tailored in collaboration with a tailor, the line's debut collection, "Mr. Flow," produced nine models, from 001 to 009.
Among them is "002 Signature," the brand's own iconic silhouette, with a deep drop-crotch rise that tapers gradually toward the hem. This piece, "009 Left Important," is derived from it.

At first glance it may look like a strongly design-driven piece, but we think the quality of the tailoring, the fabric and, above all, the silhouette when worn will show you that it looks far cleaner on the body than you might expect.
Below, we introduce this piece based on what designer Daniel Dioguardi told us directly about its concept and design.
As the name suggests, the waist is an asymmetric, structured design: from the center back toward the front, one side rises high while the other sits lower.
This asymmetrical tailoring comes from a concept of letting two different sides coexist in a single pair of pants: the elegant air of high-waisted trousers on the raised left side, and the relaxed feel of trousers worn low on the hips on the right.
This lets you enjoy contrast in your styling: wear them high-waisted with a T-shirt or shirt tucked in, or low on the hips with sneakers for a casual look.

The front pleats, which are generally placed symmetrically, are shifted from their conventional position and arranged to wrap around the body.
This is not merely a decorative detail. It is deliberately designed to create asymmetrical volume, and with it a more organic movement and silhouette.
The raised left side of the waist is lined on the inside with a traditional interfacing of the kind used in tailored jackets.
This interfacing plays an important role in the 009 Left Important: when new, it keeps the clearly asymmetrical structure, and with wear it responds to the body and changes into a shape that follows the wearer's own movement.
"Structure" is an element deeply tied to DIOGUARDI's work, yet there is a sense of balance in not making too much of it or leaning too far toward the formal.
You can sense the designer's intention to place weight on the relationship between structure and the movement of the body.
The fabric is an Italian-made trouser fabric, a blend of polyester, viscose and elastane.

It has a tailored look and drape, while also offering comfort to wear and practicality.
It is available in two colors, gray and black. The gray fabric is lighter and suits three seasons: spring, summer and autumn. The black has more thickness, so we think it is better suited to autumn and winter.
Signature Trousers come with a dedicated garment bag.
The middle pocket holds a booklet telling the story of this collection.
