Rose Palezia is a work portraying a rose with an architectural, commanding presence, expressing the contrast between light and shadow streaming into a Venetian palace.
A rich rose rises from the very moment you spray it, as the juicy fruitiness of pink grapefruit and the spark of white pepper pierce through like dazzling light.
As a creation of the Extrait de Parfum collection, this maximalist fragrance uses layers of different roses, deep leather, oakwood and oud. It could be called the polar opposite of Rose Ardoise, the rose creation of the Eau de Parfum collection, which evokes transparency and minerality.
Moreover, its shift from a bright top note to a dark, enveloping lingering finish leads you into the sensual depth of a more classic perfume, in contrast to the modern melody of Burgundy Oud, which carries cassis and oud within the same Extrait de Parfum collection.
In fragrance, the rose is a signature ingredient of perfumes created by many brands.
This is a fragrance that lets you savor, for hours on your skin, a creation that renders its light and shadow with intensity.
It all began with a single scene.
A salon in a Venetian palace.A ray of light traces across dark wooden panels, velvet and muted gold ornamentation, then vanishes once more into shadow.
From this scene I imagined this rose.
Not as a flower, but as a piece of architecture.Sculpted and monumental in presence, it inherits the opulence of the past while reinterpreting the rose through a contemporary expression.

Description
The starting point of the creation was a single ray of light streaming into a salon in a Venetian palace, gently sweeping over dark wooden walls, velvet and muted gold ornamentation before vanishing into shadow again. From that scene, Véronique Le Bihan, who leads the brand, imagined the rose not as a flower but as a piece of architecture.
Perfumer Céline Perdriel builds the fragrance as if carving the rose out of spices, woods and leather. At its heart are Moroccan and Turkish Damask roses, layered in the top with rare Bulgarian and Turkish rose essences.
The white pepper is made from fully ripened berries from the Uva region of Sri Lanka, picked by hand one by one, with the scent captured by CO₂ extraction. The Vietnamese oud in the base is sourced through distribution channels certified under the Washington Convention (CITES).

ATELIER MATERI(アトリエマテリ)というブランド名は、「atelier = 工房」と北西フランスのブルターニュ地方のブルトン語で「matière = 素材 」という意味の単語の組み合わせから。
素材にこだわるブランドとして、伝統的な香料から珍しい香料まで、厳選されたサステナブルな天然香料を使用。
自然なエレガンスと大胆なコントラストを表現した作品を送り出すべく、調香師は丁寧に選ばれたマテリアルを用いて、丹精込めて香りを重ね合わせていくのです。
ディープブルーが印象的なボトルは、“Less is More（少ない方が豊かである）”という考え方からインスピレーションを受けたデザイン。
Extrait de Parfumコレクションに使用されるラベルはブランドカラーのダークネイビーとゴールド。
そして重厚感のあるザマックという合金製ボトルキャップにはブランド名の刻印が施され、パッケージはサステイナブルな木材を原料とした紙が使われています。
香水ボトルに必須な「スプレー」部分、アトリエマテリはそんな「スプレー」にも拘っています。
噴霧の細かいスプレーは香水を肌に乗せた時にも満遍なくムラにならずに肌に乗せることが出来ます。
