A floral gourmand that breaks free of convention
FRIDA'S THORNS is a floral gourmand in which the floral character of rose is added to rich chocolate.
Tart raspberry accentuates the glamour of the rose, while cacao makes the chocolate more bitter and also brings out a roasted-nut fragrance.
What lingers at the end is a gentle, comforting and faint vanilla.
This heavy, assertive scent expresses the rebellious spirit of Frida Kahlo, an artist who symbolizes Mexico, as “thorns,” and I think it is a fragrance with a strong core.

A fragrance collection like a sanctuary where we can meet ourselves, it stirs the emotion of a new fragrance worthy of being called true luxury.
To create true luxury, OBVIOUS chose the perfumer Julien Rasquinet.
“When I compose, I always think of telling a story.
A perfume is not simply the act of translating into scent what I have seen in nature; it holds a more romantic vision of a tale.
When I create a perfume, I always seek to evoke emotion.
A perfume is born from an idea, and the words come afterwards, but I always try to hold on to the feeling that comes before the idea.
Then keywords surface, I pull a thread from them, and spin a story.”
