Description

An amber-hued bouquet colored by rich spices and tropical fruit

With spice accents on the juicy fruitiness of its signature pineapple and peach, 1804 feels like the essence of the creations of founder Gérald Ghislain, a former chef, and to me one of the most Histoires-like scents.

It brings to mind getting tipsy on a fruity cocktail laced with crushed spices.

The drydown is woody and musky.
Like unwinding slowly with incense burning after enjoying a cocktail.

A scent I recommend regardless of gender.

Histoires de Parfums 1804 15mL

Born in Paris in 1804, Lucile, later the Baroness Dudevant, also became a writer under George Sand, a pen name of either gender.

A great and devoted writer, she is also known as a feminist.
To carry her ideas into the present, this scent expresses her open-mindedness and sensual allure.

An amber-hued bouquet that seems to recall George Sand's personality, colored by rich spices and tropical fruit.
