Roasted Tangerine
Fruity Citrus Notes and Smoky Wood
Roasted Tangerine from the Mandarin House trilogy is a powerful woody fragrance that opens with a fresh, fruity citrus accord and gradually develops a smokiness, as if the fruit were being roasted over time.
Compared with other woody fruity creations, it gives the impression of more citrus within its fruitiness than Bloody Wood by Liquides Imaginaires.
For example, if you enjoy fruity scents such as the Bloody Wood mentioned above, Âme du Cœur, or 1804 by Histoires de Parfums, we have a feeling this one may suit you as well.
Like wood smoke slowly winding around a tangerine warmed by the sun, this fragrance is neither too heavy nor too light, and we think it is an easy one to wear throughout the year.

An Adventure in Citrus Fragrance
Philippe Di Méo set out on a journey to explore and reimagine the possibilities of citrus in the world of perfumery.
Noting that all citrus fruits are natural hybrids, Philippe took on the challenge of "citrus crossbreeding," grounded in its rich history and science.
His goal was to go beyond the traditional citrus scents known in the perfume industry as "hesperidic" and create an entirely new world.
By studying the citrus family tree and its limitless potential for hybridisation, Philippe envisioned new forms of citrus where creativity and nature merge.
This gave rise to unique and unexpected scents: a spicy mandarin, a creamy citron, and a gourmand hybrid Buddha's hand.
From this adventure in citrus hybridisation, three distinct citrus families were born.
- Mandarin House
- Cedrat Club
- Green Terrace
Each family reinterprets citrus through nature and imagination, embodying a new form of expression that goes beyond traditional boundaries.
In developing these innovative citrus perfumes, Philippe Di Méo collaborated with seven talented students from the Givaudan Perfume School.
Chosen from around the world, the students brought fresh ideas and diverse perspectives to the project.
This international collaboration symbolises the brand's commitment to supporting and nurturing the next generation of perfumers.
The brand also partnered with Capua, renowned as a supplier of high-quality citrus raw materials from Calabria, Italy.
Capua provides a significant share of the citrus raw materials used in our perfumes, and thanks to this, the true quality and excellence of Calabrian citrus are reflected in the fragrances.
We also used "Carto," Givaudan's AI-powered tool, to fine-tune and optimise each fragrance.
This advanced tool made it possible to explore new scent combinations with precision, expanding the possibilities of perfume creation through technology.
The fusion of young talent, outstanding raw materials and cutting-edge technology has renewed the approach to citrus perfumery, giving rise to a new world that adds a bold, modern twist to traditional scents.
