When Guidi Rosellini interprets the sandal as "footwear = tool," this seems to me the shape that feels most natural and convincing.

They pair well with wide pants and full-length pants, of course, but also with pants cropped to show the ankles, or styled with shorts.

Since they are sandals worn barefoot, even when combined with dark-colored clothing they instantly add a sense of lightness.

The Groppone Full Grain leather used here is a material taken from the part of the cowhide with notable thickness, firmness and density.

The leather is already richly infused with oil, but if it feels dry, applying the included cream will make it even more moist and soft as it conforms to your foot. Please use it as needed.

As for sizing, the last differs from shoe to shoe, so it is difficult to give a general answer, but for the Renato 1909 we recommend choosing one size down from your usual size.

Given the length of the front band and ankle strap, a size down may feel a little tight at first, but as you wear them day by day, the strap and front band stretch and conform firmly to your foot.

In particular, you can expect the strap to stretch by about one hole.

The bright natural color of the new pair has already gradually darkened, changing into a deep, amber-like color.

As for the feel when worn, the strap is adjustable like a belt, so when fastened firmly it holds your foot securely, giving a reassuring fit beyond what you might imagine.
