The PKT1 is a pochette-style shoulder bag released as one of GUIDI’s staple pieces.

Minimal in form and almost accessory-like in the way it can be worn, the PKT1 is available at our store in a variety of color variations, including both classic colors and seasonal shades.

This piece was custom ordered with American alligator leather, replacing the soft horse leather normally used for the PKT1.

In Japan, crocodilian leathers are often broadly referred to as “crocodile” or “croco.” However, crocodiles and alligators are biologically different groups, and their leathers also have different visual characteristics.

Compared to crocodile leathers such as Porosus, which tend to have a finer and more refined appearance, alligator leather features larger scale patterns, giving it a heavier and more untamed expression.

Among GUIDI’s many collections, the compatibility between alligator leather and a piece like the PKT1 is remarkably strong. With its raw edges and direct expression of the leather’s texture, the PKT1 allows the character of this material to be felt without unnecessary decoration.

The lining is made from soft horse leather.

The gusseted construction, combined with the smooth texture of the soft horse lining, allows items to be taken in and out with ease.

Inside, the GUIDI logo plate is placed discreetly, giving off a muted shine.

The fact that a bag this simple and minimal has been made not from embossed crocodile-pattern leather, but from genuine American alligator leather, is what makes this piece so special.

It is the kind of playful refinement that only a genuine material can make possible.

CV177T is an olive color released as part of the SS26 seasonal collection.

Compared to BLKT, it has a slightly glossier texture, and with use, the color will gradually deepen and become more subdued.

The way it catches the light with a muted sheen is exactly what makes exotic leather so compelling.

In terms of size and functionality as a bag, it is no different from the soft horse leather PKT1.

However, for those who are drawn to this leather, I believe the most honest and decisive reason to choose it is simply this: because it looks incredibly cool.

This piece is, of course, unisex, and would also be wonderful to share with a partner.

Below is a description of the details shared with the soft horse leather version.

In the photo showing two black bags side by side, the one on the left, with the GUIDI logo plate placed at the center front, is the original version that I personally purchased and used in the past.

The one on the right is the Lounge Sai exclusive version, made without the logo plate on the front exterior.

As you can see, the PKT1 is an extremely simple small bag with no zippers or unnecessary metal fittings. Because of this, the logo plate placed at the center front becomes quite prominent.

This is ultimately a matter of personal preference, but through actually using the bag myself, I came to prefer the version without the logo on the front. For that reason, both our soft horse leather and alligator versions were ordered without the logo plate on the exterior.

More precisely, as shown in the photos, the plate has not been completely removed. Instead, it has been moved to the same position on the inside back panel, so that it appears only subtly when the bag is opened.

As the name PKT1 suggests, this is a bag with just enough capacity to feel as though one extra pocket has been added.

That is precisely what makes this size so appealing.

Because of its compact size, the weight is hardly noticeable, allowing you to go out with almost the same ease as carrying nothing at all.

Although it is not immediately obvious from the front, the PKT1 is designed with a gusset, and this detail works surprisingly well.

A phone, mobile battery, wallet, handkerchief, mints, keys, earphones, or cigarettes.

Items of this size fit comfortably inside, making it easy to throw over your shoulder and head out lightly.

While the classic black, BLKT, is certainly easy to use, choosing a color that works as an accent, almost like an accessory, is also a great option.
