True to its name, the Mine Jacket is a work jacket inspired by the work clothes of old miners.

Like a kimono, the shoulder line drops dramatically to around the upper elbow, and the generous body width tapers naturally toward the waist, creating a dimensional silhouette.
The rounded pockets, shaped with darts to give them a subtle fullness, are another small accent.

The fabric is a dry-touch blend of cotton and hemp.
Rinsed Green is a color that can also look like a khaki brown.
The same style is also available as the Mine Jacket in Black Mix, but we feel this Rinsed Green version brings out an even stronger workwear character.
The buttons were originally horn buttons, but as our custom touch, we have replaced them with the metal shank buttons used on Aviva Jifei Xue's denim-style items.
Changing the buttons is a small detail, but combined with the texture and color, it gives the jacket an even rougher, more rugged feel than the original, in the best possible way.
Because of the drop shoulder, the shoulder width and sleeve length measurements can be hard to judge, but both the body width and sleeve length are generous enough that you could comfortably wear one size down from your usual size.
