About Our Try-On Service

For items that show a “Try-on request” field on the product page, we offer a service that allows returns or size exchanges after trying the item on at home.
If you are unsure about sizing, you may order several sizes at once and return those that do not fit.
Refunds for returned items will be issued once we have inspected the merchandise.

  5. Whether you wish to keep the item, return it, or exchange it for another size, please be sure to contact us within 3 days of delivery by email (info@loungesai.com) or through the chat on our site.
  6. Once we have heard from you, please follow the instructions we provide.

Conditions for Returns and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges of tried-on items are accepted only when the following conditions are met.

  • The try-on service is available only to customers in Japan.
  • Please be sure to contact us within 3 days of delivery.
  • Please return the item within 7 days of delivery.
  • Return shipping costs are to be borne by the customer.
  • The item must be unworn, apart from trying it on indoors, and free of stains, odors, damage, or any signs of use.
  • All tags, packaging, and accessories must be present and undamaged.
  • Repeated try-ons or returns of the same item may not be accepted.

When Returns and Exchanges Are Not Possible

We are unable to accept returns or exchanges in the following cases.

  • The item was sent back before you contacted us or before we gave you instructions
  • The item shows signs of use, stains, damage, or odors
  • Tags, packaging, or accessories are missing or damaged
  • Made-to-order or pre-order items
  • Non-clothing items, such as fragrances and hygiene products

Once the item reaches us, we will confirm the above conditions and then proceed with your refund or size exchange.
Items sent as size exchanges will be shipped cash on delivery.

The Mac Coat, released by Aviva Jifei Xue every season.

This staple coat is updated each season. This season it keeps the design of previous versions, but the length, which used to be full length, now ends around the thigh.

The shape is a classic, but above all, what makes this coat special is its fabric.

A large natural-colored check, woven from 100% undyed wool.
It has been washed, and when you wear it, I think you will feel a lightness as if it holds air within.

The lining is silk and cotton with a soft, smooth feel against the skin, and as I say every season, the wonderfully comfortable texture is simply the best.

I imagine many of you already own at least one coat in a dark color such as black, but changing the mood and wearing a coat with a casual feel like this one instantly broadens the range of your wardrobe.


For example, in the styling photos I paired it with the Work Jacket by DseconD, which we carry, and Stovaigh's Raw Seam Long Trouser, with my own M.A+ boots on my feet. Throwing a soft, large-scale check coat over such strong pieces from head to toe creates a balance I really like.

I like styles that have that kind of relaxed, effortless feel.

In the brand's original specification, the outer side of the collar was made of black linen velvet. However, I prefer the check pattern showing when the collar is laid flat, and I like the black velvet to be visible when the collar is turned up, so I placed a custom order with the fabrics used the opposite way from the original specification.


Also, as a change from previous Mac Coats, the chin strap at the collar that existed before was removed this season. However, I often wear my own Mac Coat with the collar turned up and the chin strap fastened, so as part of our exclusive specification, I had the chin strap kept on as well.

For this reason, this coat has a collar that differs from the original specification, making it a Lounge Sai Exclusive version.

Founder : Aviva Jifei Xue

Aviva graduated from the Menswear program at Parsons New School of Design in 2017 and founded the brand in 2020, based in New York.

Drawing on China, their home country, and Japan, where they lived as a child, the collections are genderless and can be worn by anyone.

Each piece is made with original textiles and antique fabrics, along with handmade ceramic buttons and natural dyes, reflecting a craftsmanship that honors good old-fashioned production methods.
