An Unusual Place in the Permanent Line, After a Worldwide Limited Release of 999 Bottles

Conceived around the scent of “silver” and named after sterling silver 925, as used in silver jewellery, “LIQUIDE Limited Edition 2020” was sold in a worldwide limited run of just 925 bottles, with a cool, sharp and icy fragrance.

The golden “LIQUIDE Limited Edition 2022” of this latest work takes “24-karat gold” as its concept, and was released as a limited bottling of 999, drawn from the figure 99.9% that denotes the purity of pure gold.

That is the story of its release in autumn 2022.

However, its popularity at the time was so great that in autumn 2023 it made an exceptional return as part of the regular collection, joining the permanent line, so that it can now be enjoyed continuously.

Some of you may have picked it up because of the special appeal of a limited edition, but is it not wonderful news that, even when your bottle runs out, you can now repurchase this favourite fragrance?

It is a fact that, not only with this one, many fragrances are discontinued, to our regret, for a variety of reasons: because they were limited editions, or because the use of certain raw materials has been banned over time and they can no longer be made.

If the bottle you currently own is running low, we hope you will feel free to keep using it without worrying about how much is left.

As for the scent, both the packaging and the fragrance differ from the previous Silver.

Many customers seem to find the fruity fragrance, scented with mandarin, simply a lovely scent without needing to think about it.

Later, once it is on the skin and time has passed, I feel the fruitiness softens and the scent shifts towards a transparency like that of water.

Water is something that seems to have almost no scent, and from a fruity, juicy top note (to me it evokes the tropics) to “a world of unscented fragrance”, this expresses a transition, and I think it is a conceptual fragrance in the true spirit of Liquides Imaginaires, one that does not end as merely a pleasant scent.
