ATELIER MATERI, the French high-luxury perfume house whose 10mL Travel Size was released the other day and has been well received at our shop, has set March 27 as the release date for its latest scent, Cèdre Figalia.
It will come ina 100mL full bottleanda 10mL travel size— two sizes in total.
Honestly, this is a scent I personally love, so I've been looking forward to its release in Japan!
This new release is striking for its bluish green andits creamy, milky fig.
It's elevated by a wonderful combination of vegetal notes like basil and spinach, and elements like fig leaf,so the moment you spray it, you get a vivid green like the smell of a leaf just torn.
Fig, the main note here as pictured, takes on a milky finish reminiscent of milky white.
Cèdre — cedarwood, which is also in the name — the elegant, delicateVirginia cedar,the fresh, livelynotes ofAlaska cedar,and the warm, enveloping aura ofAtlas cedar —three cedarwood essences carefully selected from forests in the southern United States.
At the end, the sweetness of fig and wood stands out and fades away gently.
A scent that's never showy, but minimal and grounded, with a real core to it.
It's just a really beautiful scent.
